Over the years, several wheel companies have offered custom bolt pattern drilling for those hard-to-find applications. In most cases, what they used was an oversized drill to perform this task. Unfortunately, this method can give you inaccurate results and hinder a wheels ability to run true. This may have been sufficient several years ago, but in today’s car market, aftermarket wheels must match or even exceed the original equipment (OE) tolerances in order to perform to buyer’s expectations.
In order to achieve such a high accuracy of wheel drilling, Fastco is proud to introduce their new Mazak VCN-510C, 3-axis vertical milling center. Used in the aerospace industry, this ultra high precision CNC machine is accurate to 0.0002” and is now fully operational at our facility.
The result is a buyer can select from a variety of “blank” wheel styles which are drilled and milled to the exact bolt pattern, offset, and center bore for a perfect custom fit.
